This paper elaborates the cause and hazard of partial discharge on insulators of MV switchgears and two data re quired on partial discharge in GB standard.Furthermore,the paper describes and analyzes the earthed neutral mode on medium-voltage distribution network.Thus,the paper concludes that the partial discharge quantity has the relation to earthed neutral mode of distribution network.
