高校校园文化是高校在长期办学过程中逐渐形成的特有的文化氛围,它对全校师生有着潜移默化的影响.美国高校的校园文化中有很多优秀元素值得我们学习和借鉴,本文试图探索美国高校校园文化的主要内容、特征,以及面临的挑战,并从中思考其对我国高校校园文化建设的启示,认为可以在弘扬主旋律、物质文化、重视学生主体、创新发展、回馈社会等五方面加强校园文化建设.

College campus culture is the unique cultural atmosphere gradually formed in the long-term process of running universities, which has a subtle influence on teachers and students. For college campus culture in the United States there are many good elements worth us learning and using for reference. This paper tries to explore the main content, characteristics, as well as challenges of American colleges＇ campus culture, and to think about its enlightenment on the construction of cam- pus culture in colleges and universities in our country. Strengthen the construction of campus culture from five aspects, such as upholding the theme, material culture, importance of the students-oriented, innovative development, and feedback to so- ciety etc.
