英语作为一门语言,交际功能是最重要的,而交际又是通过听说来实现.随着我国社会经济各方面发展与国际接轨的进一步深入,对英语听说能力的要求也日趋提高.在新课改的要求下,我国教育由应试教育向素质教育转变,英语教学的目的也应该越来越突出培养学生的英语交际应用能力.此时,加强农村中学英语教学工作,提高学生听、说技能,显得尤为重要.

English as a foreign language, communicative function is the most important, and communication was achieved by heard. As China＇s socio-economic development with the world further, requirements are becoming increasingly improving of English listening and speaking ability. At the request of the new curriculum reform, China＇s changing education from examination-oriented education to quality education, purposes should also be increasingly prominent in English teaching to cultivate students＇ ability to communicate in English. At this point, strengthening English teaching in middle schools in rural areas, improve the students＇ listening and speaking skills, is especially important.
