Objective To assess the clinical value of 320-detector row dynamic subtracted CT angiography in detecting movamoya disease. Methods 28 cases with mogamova disease received 320-detector row dynamic CT scan, and all the ori~,,-inal datas were processed with subtraction methold, maxinmm-intensitv projections and w^lmne-rendering techniques. 320- detector row dynamic subtracted CT angiographic images were focused on evaluation uf cerebral vascular stenosis and occlusion, abnormal hvperplasia of the brain blood vessels and collateral vessels, etc. Results 320-detector row dynamic subtracted CT angiographic im- ages of 28 patients showed different degree of cerebral vascular stenosis and occlusion, includ- ing 21 patients with bilateral lesions and 7 patients with unilateral lesions; 23 patients with abnormal vascular network in the base o~ the brain; 20 patients with enlargement of collateral arteries. Four patients had cerebral aneurysms at the same time. Conclusion 320-detector row dynamic subtracted CT angiographv can well display the characteristics of moyamova disease, and should be the first line imaRing technique for the detection of moyamova disease.
