翻译,作为一种特殊形式的传播活动,在传播学的研究框架下更加宏观、动态。处于信息传播链条开端的译者,充当了信息守门人的角色。本文选取阿瑟·威利《道德经》译本为对象,研究译者发挥其守门人角色进行信息过滤的策略选择以及深层次原因。

Translation,as a special form of communication,becomes more macroscopic and dynamic under the framework of communication science.As the beginning of communication,translators function as information gatekeeper.This article chooses Arthur Waley＇s translation of ＂Tao Te Ching＂ as the object,to study how the translators fulfill their role of gatekeeper and dig out why they adopt certain translation strategy.
