Research on Specialty Orientation and Course Setting of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics of Application-oriented Universities

根据地方经济社会发展对数学与应用数学人才的需求,以滁州学院为例,从数学与应用数学专业的现状以及面临的新形势和发展机遇出发,探讨新建应用型本科院校数学与应用数学专业定位问题。由专业定位围绕金融工程和保险精算2个特色专业方向研究课程设置问题,对课程的整合与优化进行了讨论。

The development of local social economy is served by newly-built application-oriented universities which are important parts of higher education. They play an important role in the process of promoting the higher education mode from popularization to elite. According to mathematics and applied mathematics talents demand of economic and social development, this paper takes Chuzhou University as a representative. We consider the current situation, new circumstances and development opportunity of mathematics and applied mathematics. We think that specialty orientation of mathematics and applied mathematics is necessary. How to solve the specialty orientation problem of mathematics and applied mathematics is explored, too. Then this article researches course setting problem surrounding financial engineering and insurance actuarial, and discusses curriculum reorganization.
