中国研究生教育发展之态势——基于核心指标的国际比较

The Developing Trend of Graduate Education in Today's China: Based on the International Comparison of Key Indicators

千人注册研究生数、就业人员中具有研究生学历的人数(及占比)以及高等学校学术学位研究生的生均R&D经费是衡量研究生教育发展态势的核心指标。美、英、日、澳、中五国的核心指标比较结果显示:中国研究生教育发展态势日趋良好,研究生相对规模实现平稳追赶,经济贡献和支撑条件日趋增强。虽较之发达国家差距仍然显著,但通过促进规模的结构性增长有助于缩小我国与发达国家之间的差距。

The key indicators for measuring the developing trend of the graduate education in China are the number of enrollment （per thousand）, the employment shares of postgraduates （and percentage） and the R＆D expenditure per student of academic degree. The comparison of these key indictors among the US, UK, Japan, Australia and China shows that China＇s graduate education is improving, the relative size of graduates has been smoothly catching up, economic contributions and supportive conditions have been enhanced. Though there is still a great gap between China and the developed nations, developing the graduate education by adjusting the structure will help to reduce the gap.
