Diagnostic Performance of Multislice Spiral CT for Solitary Fibrous Tumors

目的探讨孤立性纤维瘤(SFT)的多层螺旋CT(MSCT)表现,以提高对其的诊断水平。方法回顾性分析21例经手术病理证实的SFT患者的MSCT表现,所有病例均接受MSCT平扫及增强扫描检查。结果 SFT的MSCT表现为孤立、边界清楚的单发肿块。瘤体较小时,CT平扫常表现为均匀的低密度肿块,增强扫描多表现为均匀显著性强化;瘤体较大时,CT平扫常因内部囊变、坏死呈不均匀低密度,增强扫描多表现为显著不均匀强化,呈地图样或分层样强化。结论 MSCT可清晰显示SFT病灶的形态、大小及其与周围组织的关系,对SFT的诊断和鉴别诊断具有一定的帮助。

Objective To explore the performance of multislice spiral CT （MSCT） in the evaluation of solitary fibrous tumors （SFT）,and to improve the diagnosis of SFT. Methods MSCT findings of 21 patients with SFT confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent plain and enhancement CT scans. Results MSCT showed isolated and single tumors with well-defined borders. When the tumor was small, homogeneous low-density masses were observed on plain CT and significantly uniform reinforcement on enhancement CT. When the tumor was large, plain CT showed homogeneous low-density lesions due to intra-tumor necrosis and cystic degeneration and enhancement CT showed significantly non-uniform reinforcement as geographic or layered pattern. Conclusion MSCT can clearly display the size and shape of SFT and the relation to adjacent tissues. Therefore, MSCT is conducive to the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of SFT.
