《新疆图志》喀什噶尔道员袁鸿祐履任时间订误——兼谈其生平史迹

Correction of the Kashgar Daoyuan Yuan Hongyou's Nomination Time Recorded in Xinjiang Tu Zhi And Discussion About His Life Story

袁鸿祐(1841—1912)在镇压太平天国运动的战争中起家,累官至道员。光绪二十八年出任喀什噶尔道,在任10年,政绩平平。民国元年,在新伊双方的博弈中被当作棋子推上都督宝座,尚未赴任即被喀什哥老会戕杀于署。考订了袁鸿祐的生年、履任喀道的时间,补充了他履喀之前的履历,并对其被推为都督的背景和被杀的若干史实进行了辨析。

Yuan Hongyou （1841-1912） made his way in the process of suppressing the Taiping Rebellion. He was nominated as the Daoyuan of Kashgar in 1902, and his political performance was uninspiring in the 10-year＇ s prefecture. He was held up as the Dudu of Xinjiang by Yili and Dihua political forces in 1912. But, in fact, he was just a chessman of both sides. He was assassinated at the yamun by Gelaohui before he went to his appointed post. This paper is to indentify Yuan Hongyou＇s birth year, correct the time of his nomination as the Daoyuan of Kashgar, supplement his curriculum vitae in official circles before he went to Kashgar, discuss the background of his nomination as the Dudu and some historical facts about his death.
