The Buddhist tourism resources of Mount Wutai are of rich cultural heritage, which has become the important part of the modem tourism industry of Mount Wutai. The tourist market of Mount Wutai＇ s Buddhist tourism is stable and the rate of the tourist revisiting is high. So the resources of Mount Wutai are of wide scope and potential in development. However, the current development has not made full use of its feature and advantages. Mount Wutai tourism development also does not give lull play to its support of the nature of the advantages, namely the cultural advantage. To the contrary, it is of obvious utility and economic tendency. The profound connotation of the Buddhist culture does not stand out in the tourism of Mount Wutai. This paper attempts to discuss the effect of the rich Buddhist culture tourism of Mount Wutai by using it as a carrier, thus further dig out the deep connotation of the Buddhist culture tourism resources.
