中国区域经济发展与城乡差距实证研究——基于省际面板数据的分析

An Empirical Study on the economic development and the urban-rural Disparity——An Analysis based on Provincial Panel Data

文章利用因子分析法综合计算2000—2010年我国各省区经济发展与城乡差距指标,对各地区经济发展和城乡差距演进历程和现实状况进行分析。在此基础上,利用2000—2010年各省区面板数据分析了经济发展与城乡差距之间关系,发现我国现阶段经济发展会扩大城乡差距,同时城乡差距的扩大也相应促进了经济发展。进一步分析发现,经济发展与城乡差距相互作用在三大地区间呈现不同特征,东部地区经济发展有利于缩小城乡差距,而中西部地区经济发展却扩大了城乡差距;东部地区城乡差距抑制了经济发展,而中西部地区城乡差距扩大会刺激经济发展。

The article first calculates the indicators of the economic development and urban - rural dis- parity, using the method of the factor analysis. Then, it analyzes the evolution process and the reality condition of each region. Based on these analyses, the 2000-2010 Provinces Panel Data is used to ana- lyze the relationship between regional economic development and urban-rural disparity. The results shows that, in the present stage China＇ s economic development will improve the urban - rural disparity, and the expansion of urban - rural disparity will also promote the economic development. Further analy-sis find out that the relationship between economic development and urban - rural disparity are showing different characteristics in the three belt of the China. The development of economy in the East areas will narrow the urban - rural disparity, while it will stimulate economic development in the Central and West- ern regions.
