摘要
英语第二课堂活动是课堂教学的有益补充,在各高职院校得到了广泛开展,然而其有效性却鲜有探讨。调查发现,虽然英语第二课堂活动的有效性获得了多数高职学生的认可,但仍有相当一部分学生认为它们的效果差强人意。在设计和开展英语第二课堂活动时,我们应从其有效性出发,着眼于效率,追求效果,重视效益,并使之合乎教与学的规律。
Extracurricular English learning activities are beneficial supplements to classroom English learning. They were widely carried out in many higher vocational colleges. However, the effectiveness of these activities is rarely discussed by researchers. This empirical study finds that although many students agree that our extracurricular activities are effective to some extent, there are still quite a number of our students who think these activities are not satisfyingly effective. When designing and launching English extra- curricular learning activities, we should put their effectiveness into consideration, namely efficiency, effect, benefit and princi- ples of teaching and learning.
