The effects of hot-rolled process lubrication developed and applied in finishing mill of 1 450 hot-rolled strip line were summarized as that： the rolling force was reduced 7.9%, the current was reduced 6.12%, the rolling lubricant oil consumption was 0.060 3 kg/t and the finishing working roller wear- out was reduced 10%, hence all of these can improve the surface quality of strip to a certain degree.
