新时代对非英语专业大学生的口语表达能力提出了更高要求,然而大学英语的口语教学由于没有专门的课时、学生参与积极性差,面临着种种困难,教学效果并不尽人意。从心理语言学的角度分析,言语输出中词汇的提取困难和工作记忆的超负荷是导致学生表达不畅的主要原因。教师应尝试着扩充学生词汇量和固定表达,增加记忆组块容量,改进口语教学的组织方式,逐渐提高学生的口语表达能力。
