The paper introduces a 3D remote monitoring system for bridge-erecting cranes based on configuration soft- ware GENESIS64. The system is to monitor the working process and specified operating parameters of the bridge-erecting crane, which can record and manage important operating parameters and safety condition, with real-time display of related alarm information. With the aid of unique GENESIS64 3D visualization and WIN7 display technology, the real-time 3D modeling remote-control is carried out through the site data, hence to realize 3D remote virtue monitoring of hoisting equip- ment.
