It is believed that the development of higher vocational education in Taiwan has been promoting the adjustment of industrial structure and the updating of industrial technology, and supplying powerfully expertise and intelligence support for the sustainable development of Taiwan＇s economy. China's Mainland can draw on the experience of Taiwan＇ s higher vocational education from the following aspects： how to create a harmonious ed- ucational environment, how to adopt pragmatic ways of expertise training, how to define clearly training objec- tives, how to implement a variety of practical teaching models, and how to employ effective approaches of culti- vating students professional ethics. China's Mainland＇s higher vocational education reform and development will benefit much from exchanges of vocational education ideas and experience with Taiwan.
