《中国图书馆分类法》(第5版)医药、卫生类目更强调立类的实用性和工具性,在一定程度上适应了医药类文献迅速增长的要求,但其仍然存在着部分新增类目及类目注释不科学、细分类目列举不全、类目划分概念性错误、相似类目设置不一致、交替类目设置过于简略等问题,应当在下一次修订时进一步更正及完善。

The category of medicine and health in Chinese Library Classification （CLC） （5th Edition）more emphasize on the practicability and the instrumentality of setting categories, and has adapted to the rapidly growing requirement of medical literatures to a certain degree. But parts of new categories and category notes are unscientific, the enumerated subdivison category is not complete, the differetiation of categories has conceptual errors, the setting of similar categories is inconsistent, the setting of alternate categories is too simple, and so on.These problems should be corrected and improved further in the next revision.
