The properties of the springs in series and in parallel are studied in this paper. By analyzing of the practical problems, we can make students understand that sometimes the series and the parallel connection of the springs is a false form. To tackle the specific problems, one must base on the physical realities and solve them flexibly instead of using the formulas randomly. This work will help the students to develop the ability to analysis and solve problems.
