摘要
近年来许多发展中国家在普及基础教育的同时,也尝试通过新的模式和途径为农村教师提供支持,从而提高教育质量。本文将其统称为"农村教师专业发展支持体系"。本文重点考察了农村教师发展支持体系的产生背景及其在三个发展中国家(埃塞俄比亚、罗马尼亚和中国)的实践与成效,由此提炼出"农村教师支持体系"的概念内涵,并讨论成功构建、运作支持体系的基础条件。
What do rural school teachers need and how can they be supported in their continuing professional development? How can a teacher support system be set up and function in a certain context? This article answers these questions through three case studies in different contexts:Ethiopia, Romania and Southwest China. The concept of "Support System for Ruial Teachers" is derived from these successful practices and the desirable founda- tions for forming the system are discussed.
