摘要
本文以Painter等人(2013)的视觉语篇语义学和Martinec&Salway(2005)的图文逻辑语义关系系统为基础,使用系统功能语言学家Halliday对小句之间的逻辑语义扩展描述,在人际意义视阈下对《格林童话》插图本中的图文关系进行了分析,发现图文之间存在着三种表达人际意义的逻辑语义扩展关系:详述、增强和延展,对解读插图版《格林童话》和研究其他多模态儿童读物有一定参考价值。
Based on Painter et al. ' s (2013) visual discourse semantics and Martinec & Salway' s (2005) network of logical semantic relations between texts and images, this paper uses Halliday' s conception of logico-semantic expansion between clau- ses for the analysis of image-text relations in illustrated Grimm' s Tales on the interpersonal level. It has found that the relations are of three types of logico-semantic expansion: elaboration, enhancement and extension, which can hopefully shed light on decoding illustrated Grimm' s Tales and other multimodal children' s books in the age of pictorialization.
