摘要
采用问卷对某高校三个年级557名非英语专业大学生的英美文化认同进行了调查,结果表明,总体而言,大学生对英美文化的认同呈上升趋势。此外,从32名学习者的访谈中发现:对英语及英美文化的兴趣会使学习者更加努力地学习英语.因而英语水平也较高.他们在学习英语过程中对英美文化了解在某种程度上促使他们认同英美文化;学习英语后,大部分学习者在个人情感、思想、个性和行为举止等方面的变化有了不同程度的变化.
Through questionnaire, this article diachronically investigated the Anglo-American culture identifica- tion of 557 non-English majors from different grades; it found that on the whole these students' identification with Anglo-American culture is on the rise. In addition, it indicated, from the interview of 32 students, that those who took great interest in English and Anglo-American culture worked harder at English, hence their higher proficien- cy, their acquaintance with Anglo-American culture during English learning fostered their Anglo-American cul- tural identification to some extent; more or less change has been seen in the majority of these students' personal feeling, thinking, pe^onality and behavior since they have learned English.
