摘要 Surface inspection systems (SIS) for steel based on machine vision technologies to accomplish online surface defect detection and classification in overall width and length of strip steel, play an important role in high-level steel companies all over the world such as POSCO, AccelorMittal, and Baosteel. An SIS is a non-contact, real-time system, with distinguished advantages of automatic surface defect detection and classification. It is a powerful and helpful tool in quality control and improvement.
