摘要
目的检测E-cadherin和MMP-9在人食管癌组织中的表达情况,探讨二者的相关性及其与临床病理特征的关系。方法采用免疫组化ElivisionTM plus法检测90例食管癌组织和45例癌旁组织中E-cadherin、MMP-9的表达情况。结果在癌旁组织中E-cadherin、MMP-9的表达率分别为80.0%和0.0%,在食管癌组织中分别为57.8%和73.3%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);在食管癌组织中E-cadherin、MMP-9的阳性表达与肿瘤细胞分化程度、临床分期、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05);且两者的表达呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论食管癌组织中E-cadherin呈低表达,MMP-9呈高表达;二者对食管癌的发生、浸润、转移有相反的调节作用;联合检测可以预测食管癌的生物学行为。
Objective To investigate the expressions of E -cadherin and MMP- 9 protein in human esophageal carcinoma, and to explore the correlation between the two and its relationship with clinical pathological characteristics. Methods Expressions of E - eadherin and MMP - 9 were examined by immunohistochemistry and histochemistry from 90 cases of esophageal carcinoma and 45 cases of adjacent non tumor tissue. Results The positive rate of E - cadherin and MMP - 9 in adjacent non tumor tissue was 80.00/0 and 0.0% respectively, and that in esophageal carcinoma was 57.8% and 73.3% respectively. There were significant differences between adjacent non tumor and esophageal carcinoma tissues ( P 〈 0.05 ) . The expressions of E - cadherin and MMP - 9 were significantly related with tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, clinical stage, and postoperative survival time ( all P 〈 0.05). E - cadherin expression was negatively correlated with MMP - 9 (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion In esophageal carcinoma, the weak expression of E - cadherin protein and the strong expression of MMP- 9 protein indicate that they play a reverse role in the genesis, infiltration and metastasis of esophageal carcinoma. The combined detection of E - cadherin and MMP - 9 in expression can predict exactly the malignant biology behavior of esophageal carcinoma.
