Chinese local government debt has become a great concern at home and abroad in recent years.First of all,this paper delineates the general situation of Chinese local government debt.Secondly,it analyses the problems and the risks of Chinese local government debt.Thirdly,it proposes the theoretical basis and practical reasons of local government debt risks.Finally,it gives suggestions about debt management of the local government by using the experience of American local government for reference.
