尼龙成炭剂的研制及其在无卤阻燃PP中的应用 被引量:3

摘要 通过熔融挤出的方法制备了低熔点尼龙成炭剂尼龙6/氯化钙/有机蒙脱土(PA6/CaCl2/OMMT)(NCA),并将其与膨胀型阻燃剂复配后用于聚丙烯(PP)中。通过电子拉力试验机、水平垂直燃烧测试仪、灼热丝试验仪和差示扫描量热(DSC)测试仪等手段研究了NCA含量对阻燃PP力学性能和阻燃性能的影响。结果表明,随着NCA含量的增大,阻燃PP材料的阻燃性能变好,力学性能没有明显变化。当NCA质量分数为6%时,材料满足UL94 V-0级(3.2、2.5 mm)。增大共聚PP的比例有利于提高材料的韧性,当均聚PP与共聚PP的质量比为1:1时,阻燃材料表现了优异的平衡力学性能,Izod缺口冲击强度达到5.2 kJ/m2,同时阻燃性能良好。 The nylon charring agent (PA6/CaC12/OMMT) (NCA) with a low melt point was prepared through melting extrusion, which was successfully applied in intumescent halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene (PP). The effect of NCA content on the mechanical properties and flame retardancy of flame retarded PP was studied by electronic tensile testing machine, horizontal and vertical burning tester, glow wire tester and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that flame retardancy of materials became better with the increasing of NCA, and there was no distinct difference in mechanical properties. When NCA content reached as 6 wt% the material would pass UL94 V-0 class (3.2/2. 5 mm) examination. While the proportion of co-PP in blends increased, the toughness of materials was improved. When the mass ratio of homo-PP to co-PP was 1:1, the flame retarded PP not only had excellent mechanical properties with a high Izod notched impact strength (5.2 kJ/m2) , but also had good flame retardancy.
