With reference to achievements and description of the shear experiments of anchor cable executed by Mr. Wen Jin-tao, the bearing mechanism and failure forms of the no-tensioning anchor cable are studied, providing acknowledgement and argument of the no- tensioning anchor cable with the experimental basis.
