理工科院校旅游管理学科建设的SWOT分析——以太原理工大学为例

SWOT Analysis on Construction of Tourism Management Subjects of Science and Engineering University——Taking Taiyuan University of Science and Technology for an Example

以太原理工大学为例,从优势、劣势、机会和挑战四方面开展旅游管理学科建设可行性进行分析,发现山西旅游资源丰富、旅游产业转型跨越、理工科思维的社会效应以及地方院校科研的大力投入等是太原理工大学旅游学科发展的优势和机遇。提出需加大旅游安全与应急管理科学问题研究力度,有效带动区域旅游学科建设和旅游产业发展。

Taking Taiyuan University of Science and Technology for an example, the paper has been found advantages and opportunities of developing tourism subjects, such as abound tourism resources, transition leaping of tourism industry, social effects of science and engineering thoughts and vigorous input of local academies scientific research, based on analyzing fea- sibility of building tourism management subjects from 4 aspects of advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges. Fi- nally, the paper was put forward devoting greater effort to research tourism safety and emergency management and effectively driving construction of regional tourism subjects and development of tourism industry.
