摘要
中国古代文学史中从来不乏托物言志的作品,托物言志使得文章含蓄而饱含深意。鸟类作为人们生活中常见的动物形象,在作品中曾经多次出现,忠贞不移的鸳鸯和燕子、壮志凌云的大鹏、思乡的鸿雁是我们常常在文学作品中看到的角色。它们被作者赋予各种深刻内涵,借以表达作者的主观感受。鸽子并不是在诗篇中信手拈来,随处可见的形象,但它同样有着自己特有的文化意义。在许多描写佛寺的作品中,鸽子常常被作为固有的背景出现,与山、石、树、禅房等共同组成富有佛家文化内涵意义的画面。
