Objective To study the characteristic of adverse effects of Dansen injection in clinical application and offer a basis for clinical medication. Methods From January of 2006 to December of 2012, 52 patients treated with Dansen injection were enrolled in this study. Data of age, sex distribution, primary disease types, time of adverse reaction emergency and types and clinical manifestation of adverse reactions were analyzed. Results The incidence of adverse re- actions rose along with the increase of age, and it was higher among females than males; the differences were statistically significant(P〈0.05). Shock, viral myocarditis, coronary heart disease and chronic corpulmonale were common primary diseases among 52 patients. The adverse reac- tions more commonly emerged in the process of using drug than after drug treatment (P〈0.05); the most high risk time was about 10 min after injection. In terms of the types and clinical manifestation of adverse reactions, allergic reactions and cardiovascular system symptoms took a large portion as more than 50% in all adverse effects; the common clinical manifestations were skin pruritus, palpitation, chest tightness, anaphylactic shock. Conclusion In the process of the Danshen injection, patients' age, gender, primary diseases should be taken into consideration; at the high risk time zone the patients should be observed carefully; the necessary rescue and nursing measures should be prepared for different types of common adverse reactions.
