Identification of the Pathogen Responsible for Sorghum sudanense Southern Leaf Blight

通过对苏丹草新病害苏丹草小斑病病原与玉米小斑病菌和苏丹草大斑病菌的比较研究 ,鉴定出苏丹草小斑病病原与玉米小斑病病菌是同一个种 ,为玉蜀黍平脐蠕孢 [Bipo larismaydis(Nishikado&Miyabe)Shoemalcer =HelminthosporiummaydisNishikado&Miyabe=Cochliobolusheterostrophus (Drechs.)Drechsler(有性世代 ) ]。

Through the comparison of the pathogens of a new disease of Sorghum sudanense with Bipolaris maydis and Exserohilum furcicum in morphology, physiology,symptom and host ranges,it was identified to be Bipolaris maydis. The Sorghum sudanense is Bipolaris maydis's new host.
