Discussion on Chemical English for Specific Purposes( CESP) Teaching Reform

在经济全球化和信息化的时代,专业人才需要具备扎实的专业知识和在专业领域用外语进行交流沟通的能力。高校化学化工专业英语教学还存在一些问题,需要我们教师不断提高自身素质、改革教学模式。试从教学目标、教学内容、教学现状、考核方法等方面提出一些改革方法,并结合实践案例探讨化学化工专业英语教学的改革之路。

In the age of economic globalization and information, professionals needed to have solid professional knowledge, and the ability to communicate in a foreign language in the professional field. At present, there were some problems with the characteristics and teaching status of specialized English for chemical engineering major. It needed for teachers to improve the quality and reform the teaching mode. Some reforms from several aspects including astronomical teaching aim, teaching contents, teaching method and examination were carried out, and the chemical English for specific purposes （CESP） teaching reform according to instruction was investigated.
