The main content of Organic Chemistry wrote by Prof David R. Klein was translated. There were 27 chapters in the book, which was still in accordance with the arrangement of traditional functional groups classification, but the emphasis was the introduction of the mechanism. Chapter 6 was devoted to the Chemical Reactivity and Mechanisms, and Chapter 12 introduced Synthesis. Review of Concepts, Vocabulary and Key Terminology were prensented after every chapter. It would be useful to teaching summary and to review of study. The exercises in the middle of the chapter and the three types of exercises were the further study of the knowledge, hoped to provide some arrangement reference for the textbook content to the domestic university.
