道德绑架是指人们以行善的名义,通过舆论压力胁迫他人履行一定行为或中止与道德相冲突的行为。道德绑架具有道德性、公开性、胁迫性、软约束性等特征。道德绑架不同于道德劝说的地方在于它的强制性;不同于道德强制的地方在于它强制的软约束性;不同于道德欺骗的地方在于它的意图是善的。道德绑架对于现实社会的影响,我们应当有足够的重视。

Moral kidnapping is ethi- cal, public, compelling, and softly restrictive. Moral kidnapping differs from moral persuasion in compelling force; it is different from moral compulsion in soft restriction; what makes it different from moral deception is its good intention.
