韦伯学说中埋藏着丰富的哲学意蕴,他以西方近代文化为研究的出发点,从文化史的角度探讨世俗社会与宗教及东西方社会诸现象的文化根源,追寻其发生学意义。他的理论和学说庞杂深奥,人们很难将其简单归于某一类。以今天的眼光来看,韦伯学说所涉及的学科除了社会学以外,经济学、哲学、政治学、宗教学、管理学、历史学等诸多学科及其研究方法,在韦伯的著述中都有不同程度的体现和运用。

Weber＇s doctrine had rich philosophical implication, it took modern Western culture as a starting point to explore the cultural source of the secular society and religion, as well as Eastern and Western social phenomena, from the viewpoint of cultural history he would trace the genesis of meaning. His theory and doctrine is complex and esoteric, it is difficult to be attributed to a particular class. On today＇s perspective, Weber＇s doctrine disciplines belongs to sociology, economics, philosophy, political science, religious studies, management science, history and many other disciplines and research methods in Weber＇s writings have varying degrees expression and use.
