严复和熊季廉的“父子”之交

Father-son Relationship of Yan Fu and Xiong Jilian

清季的严复可谓新学界的一面旗帜,在他的周围积聚了不少趋新者,特别是在清末新政后,严复及其友人、门徒共同研究新学,参与兴学、新政等活动,为严复生平行迹的重要方面。在严复弟子中,江西熊季廉与其关系最为密切。本文根据新发现的一则严复佚文,结合其他有关史料,比较详细地钩沉了严复和熊季廉的"父子"之交。

After the new policy of late Qing dynasty was carried out,Yan Fu and his friends and students studied new learning and took part in relevant activities.Among all his students,Yan was closest to Xiong Jilian in Jiangxi province.This paper probed into the father-son relationship of Yan and Xiong.
