摘要 I. Evolution of the Crisis in SyriaBeginning in early 2011, many people in West Asia and North Africa took to streets in an attempt to urge their governments to step down. As a whole, these various street movements were termed the ＂Arab Spring＂ by Western and some Arab media outlets.
