高校图书馆中国周边国家小语种文献资源建设与评价——以北外图书馆为例

Construction and Evaluation of Foreign Languages Literature Resources on China's Neighboring Countries in University Libraries——take Library of Beijing Foreign Studies University for example

中国周边国家小语种文献资源建设对于学习、研究周边各国语言,了解各国历史文化,发展各国外交,促进经济合作具有重要意义。文章分析了周边国家小语种文献资源特点和高校图书馆小语种文献资源建设的依据,并从馆藏数量、专业覆盖率、语种结构、时间结构和藏书利用率几个方面对北外图书馆中国周边国家小语种馆藏进行评价,发现馆藏特点和不足,为高校图书馆小语种文献资源建设工作提供参考。

The construction of foreign languages literature resources on China＇ s neighboring countries has great significance for the learning and study of languages, culture and history of these countries as well as for developing the diplomatic relationship and improving the economic cooperation with them. This paper analyses the features of literature resources on the above mentioned countries and the principles of constructing the foreign languages literature resources on them in university libraries, evaluates such a part of literature collection in Library of Beijing Foreign Studies University from aspects like the amount, subjects, languages, publishing time and the utilization etc. and then points out the characteristics and shortcomings of the collection. The author hopes that this study can provide reference for the construction of Non-English foreign languages literature resources in university libraries.
