生态女性主义是当代西方女性解放运动和生态环境运动结合的产物。它以独特的女性视角审视人与自然、女性与自然、女性与男性的关系,主张抛弃人类中心主义与男性中心主义的错误理念,尊重自然,尊重现实,承认人类与自然、女性与男性拥有同等的权利,建立人与自然、女性与男性之间新型的、和谐的、可持续发展的关系。生态女性主义是一个全新的、不断发展的理论,虽然面临诸多理论困境,但必将逐步走向成熟和完善。

Eco - feminism is the outcome of the combination between the contemporary western women＇ s liberation movement and the movement of ecological environment. It surveys the relationships between human and nature, women and nature, women and men by the unique female perspective. Eco -feminism advocates abandoning the misconceptions of anthropocentrism and androcentrism, respecting nature and the reality, acknowledging that women and men enjoy the same rights while the equal rights also belong to both human and nature, and establishing the new harmonious relationship which is sustainable developed between human and nature, women and men. Eco -feminism is a completely new theory with continuous development, and tends to achieve perfection gradually, although it will face lots of theoretical predicaments.
