On Women's Liberation from the Perspective of the Evolution of Divorce Law in Britain

英国离婚法的演变经历了一个漫长的过程,从不允许离婚到通过立法程序离婚,最后发展到通过司法判决离婚;在离婚理由上由"过错主义"原则发展到具有现代意义的"破裂主义"原则,最终实现了离婚自由。这一过程也是妇女获得解放的过程,妇女能够从无爱的婚姻枷锁中解放出来,离不开英国离婚法由传统向现代的转化。

The evolution of divorce law in Britain has gone through a long process. In the past, it never allowed any divorce; then it permitted divorce through the legislative procedures and at present through judicial decisions. The ＂fault liability＂ principle of divorce cause at first turned into the modem meaning of the ＂rapture＂ principle, which made people achieve the freedom of divorce. This process is also the development procedure of women＇ s liberation. Thanks to the evolution of divorce law in Britain, women are able to be liberated from the shackles of the marriages without love.
