英语专业新生语音学习背景的调查与思考

摘要 一直以来语音能力的培养备受关注,通过将定量与定性研究相结合,对某高校129名英语专业新生进行调查,了解他们进入大学前的语音训练背景及对大学语音课程的需求,调查结果对英语专业语音教学、英语语音师资培训、语音课程安排等具有一定的参考意义。 This study, conducted with a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, investigates the phonetics training background of the first-year English majors before they start the study in university as well as their expectations of teachers and teaching methods of phonetics course, taking a group of 129 first-year English majors in one university as an example. The students' automaticity is expected to be given full play in their phonetics study. The findings of the research are likely to be beneficial to the teaching of phonetics course, teachers' training for it and its course scheduling, etc.
