浅谈农民工子女受教育权不平等问题

在改革开放进一步深化,社会主义市场经济得到了快速发展的同时,社会各种矛盾也有所凸显。其中,农民工子女入学难已经成为一个非常严峻的问题,包括受教育机会不平等、就学过程不平等。由于户籍的限制,农民工子女要想与城市子女上同一所学校,就必须通过多缴纳高昂的赞助费和借读费来实现。经济条件差的农民工子女只能就读于民办农民工子弟学校,而这些学校由于资金短缺,且不少学校办学以赢利为目的,办学条件相对较差,进一步加重了农民工的负担。尽管国家已经出台了相应政策,但形势依然严峻。

With the deepening of reform and open-up, there is not only a rapid growth of socialist marketing e- conomy but also an emergence of various social contradictions. Among these, a serious problem is the difficulty of being enrolled by schools for children of migrant workers. It reflects inequality of receiving education and unfair- ness of schooling process. Due to restriction of household registration, to have their children enrolled by the same school for urban children, migrant workers have to pay a high sponsorship fee and a temporary schooling fee. Par- ents who can not afford these have to send their children to private schools for children of migrant workers. How- ever, because there is a severe shortage of fund and a general profit-oriented intention, school running condition is relatively poor in these schools. All of these add more burdens to migrant workers. Although our country has for- mulated respective policies, the situation is still severe.
