《现代汉语词典》第6版"Z"字条释义修订共计397处,修订方式有以下六种:新义项的增补、旧义项的删汰、义项位置置换、义项局部修改、综合修订和重新释义。其释义修订提升了《现代汉语词典》的释义质量,具有简明性、精准性、客观性、时代性、完整性和系统性等特点。
In the 6th edition, the definitions concerning initial Z of Chinese characters in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary have been improved in following six aspects： supplementing new senses, deleting old senses, readjusting sense positions, modifying partial senses, comprehensively revising and reinterpreting senses. The senses revision improves the quality of senses, which are characterized with conciseness, accuracy, objectivity, completeness and systematization.
