摘要
食品专业英语文献语言专业性较强,内容涉及食品学科理论知识、科技动态和专业信息,包括新技术、新工艺、新发明、新发现及新的研究成果。借助食品专业英语教材中实例等资料,分析了食品专业英语文献在词汇、结构、语篇和文体等方面的独特之处,试图揭示食品专业英语文献的语言特点,促进在校大学生和食品从业人员提高专业英语理解和使用能力,从而丰富专业知识,提升业务水平。
Food professional English covers a wide range of theoretical knowledge, including new technologies, processes, inventions and discoveries. With the help of Selected English Writings for Food Speciality, a hrst-hand text book, this article probes into food professional English in terms of vocabulary, structure, discourse and style, trying to reveal the linguistic features to promote and enhance the English ability as well as knowledge of the college students and professionals.
