The creative industry can foster new points for economic growth,and optimize urban industrial structure, as well as remodeling city＇ s image, therefore it is very important for promoting the development of a city. The two major intensive factors for development of urban creative industry are the operating environment of creativity and the creative capital base, and the governmental policy is the major extensive influencing factor. Strategies to promote the development of creative industry in Zhengzhou including;increase the policy support for the creative industry, pro- mote the innovate capabilities of enterprises in the creative industry, foster the leading enterprises with well - known brand, as well as strengthen introduction and training of professionals in creative industry.
