加强国防建设的目的是维护国家主权、安全、领土完整,保障国家和平发展。在新的历史条件下,加强国防精神建设应认识国家根本利益及其拓展的内涵;确立与时代发展相适应的国家安全观念;解决加强国防精神建设面临的问题并采取相应的对策。

The aim of strengthening the building of the national defense is to safeguard the national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity and guarantee the peaceful development of the country. In the new historical conditions, it is necessary to understand the national fundamental interest and the connotation of its expansion, enhance the awareness of national defense, form the concept of na- tional security adaptable to the development of times, solve the existing problems in strengthening na- tional defense awareness and adopt corresponding countermeasures.
