Female Culture as the Feminism Approach to Settling Modernity Crises——On the Delicate Meaning of Georg Simmel's Gender Theory

齐美尔是古典社会学思想家中最为敏感锐利的性别论者之一。齐美尔的社会性别思想以形而上学为基础,对男女性别差异从本质性和文化性两个方面进行解释;将性别问题视为现代性危机之一,并剖析了两个典型女性悲惨的例证——金钱婚姻与卖淫;作为"差异的欣赏者",齐美尔认为女性运动不应追求与男性的差异夷平,而应建立一种不同于男性文化的"女性文化",在人类文化的库存中增加女性的精神价值,最终实现整个人类的灵魂平等与自由。

Georg Simmel, a classical sociologist from Germany, contributed his special and in - depth theory on gender. On the base of metaphysics, George Simmel discussed gender differences in the perspectives of essence and culture; thought of gender issue as one of modernity crises, and analyzed two typical tragic examples of women： money marriage and prostitution; as ＂a thinker of differences＂, he argued that the goal of women＇ s movement should achieve the equality and freedom of human soul through building the ＂female culture＂ and in- creasing women＇ s spiritual value, but not to even the differences between women and men.
