漫谈文学经典重译

The retranslation of classics is a global phenomenon. The interaction of market, historical environment, multiplicity of literary interpretation and the change of translatability have led to great prosperity of re-translation of Western classics in China over the past decades. Meanwhile, some poor translations and even openly plagiarized versions also found their way unchecked into the market. It is time now to take comprehensive measures such as self-discipline and public surveillance to guarantee the healthy development of re-translation of classics.
