The imitative writing in poetry class consists of form imitation and content imitation, both of which may contribute to the training of students＇ innovative thinking,and consequently, poetry class may implement the double functions of not only enriching students＇ knowledge of poetry,hut also improving students＇ innovative thinking. Poetry class,in tiffs way,is different from the traditional class which emphasizes singly on the introduction of poetry, and on the other hand, is a positive response to contemporary education appeal of the cultivation of talents with innovative thinking.
