Methods play an intermediary role in the process of education, and the dredging method for. network ideological and political education is important innovation of ideological and political education. Based on the Inter- net, it is the education method taking the need of ideological and political education as the purpose, which also is a carrier of cognitive process to influence the judgment and movement of the educated. The network environment leads to the changes of the morality and behavior principle of the educated, so the traditional dredging methods have to form new standard to be effectively used. Through analysis of the connotation and the characteristics of dredging method for the network ideological and political education, from the perspective of the overall reflection on the tra- ditional methods, the prospect and the trend in the development process were discussed in the paper, so the educa- tors will better scientifically use the dredging method for network ideological and political education in the teaching practice, and help to reach the best teaching results.
