To boost the development of political and ideological education in our army, this article is to have a brief review on the historical development of U.S. military padre system, to perform the feature analysis of its system in terms of the legal ground, forms of allocation, responsibilities, selection and appointment, challenge of problems and others, and finally, to come up with the seven enlightenments for the political and ideological education in our army.
